From Surviving to Thriving!
"Devata" in the Khmer language is a term meaning female guardian, angel, or spirit.
The Devata Giving Circle is a group led by committed Cambodian-American women, joined together to help raise funds for social justice minded organizations working to advance the leadership of Cambodian women and girls.
Our Mission
We work to promote collaborative giving in order to support organizations in their social justice work to advance leadership roles of Cambodian women and girls.
Our Shared Vision
We envision thriving Cambodian communities in which Cambodian American women and girls are inspired, engaged, and empowered to lead.
Please join us for our first in-person IWD event in over 5 years, on Saturday March 29, 2025 from 11AM-2PM at District in Oakland, to celebrate the work of our grantees and honor our brilliant Cambodian American artists and activists.
Support us in our efforts to reach a goal of $20K to continue funding organizations that empower and advance the leadership of Cambodian girls and women, by purchasing a ticket or making a donation.
Appetizers will be provided and drinks available for purchase.
Tickets available at Eventbrite (external link opens a new page).
